VariHesive® Extra Thin dressing can be used as a primary dressing for dry, low exuding wounds and for pressure injury prevention.

The VariHesive® Extra Thin dressing can be used to address grade I and II pressure injuries.

Protection

A thin polyurethane film provides a barrier against bacteria and viruses, while the dressing remains intact and leak-free.

The film provides an impermeable barrier.

The dressing can be removed without traumatizing the newly formed tissue.

It is designed to reduce the risk of skin breakdown due to frictional and twisting forces that can occur in a bedridden patient.

It can be used as a primary or secondary dressing.

It can be used on cracks in the skin and superficial wounds, dry or low exuding wounds, newly formed tissues or on skin that is at risk of rupture due to factors such as urinary and/or faecal incontinence, or due to the forces of friction, twisting or pressure.

Easy application

Transparent backing improves dressing placement and wound monitoring.

Dressings are easy to use, mold and can be cut to adapt to difficult areas.

Wash your hands, and flush the lesion with saline. Dry the surrounding skin.

Apply the VariHesive Extra-Thin dressing over the wound, leaving a 3cm margin on the perilesional skin.

To get a good grip, briefly place the palm of your hand on the dressing to provide warmth.

To remove the dressing, detach the 4 edges and carefully remove. Don’t worry about gel residue remaining in the wound bed, as its odor and color are perfectly normal.
